Vocab

1. Rosemary-N. an evergreen aromatic shrub
The sweet smell of rosemary filled the air as the girl walked by.
2. Sallow-Adj. a yellow or pale brown color
The cooking meat started to turn a sallow color as it roasted over the fire.
3. Waverer- vb. shake with a quivering motion
The old man was constantly in a waverer like motion.
4. Perverse-Adj. Showing a deliberate and obstinate desire to behave in that way
 The little girl was perverse in her mean attitude.
5. Cunning- Adj. Having or showing skill in achieving ones end by deceit or evasion
Her cunning skills of speed were all she needed to escape.
6. Procure-Vb. Obtain
The man procured the old biscuit by stealing.
7. Lamentable-Adj. Deplorable or unsatisfactory
His actions in war were lamentable.
8. Kinsmen-N. A person related
The people were kinsmen, related by blood.
9. Unwieldy-Adj. Difficult to carry because of its size, shape, weight
The large claymore was unwieldy for the small gnome
10. Variable-Adj. Not consistent or having a fixed pattern
 The scientists variables were thrown off by a loud disturbance in his lab.
